Port Elizabeth learner kidnapped- two men arrested

Two suspects will appear in the Port Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday on a charge of kidnapping.

Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says it is alleged that on Friday an eight year old pupil was kidnapped from an aftercare facility by three men.

The child was taken to a place in Glendinningvale where he was left with one of the three suspects.

The man left the child alone and when he did not return, the child went outside screaming for help.

Naidu says a woman who heard him screaming alerted the police.

Two of the three suspects were arrested.

A third suspect is still at large.
