Port Elizabeth police are investigating four cases of business robbery following incidents that took place over the past two days.
Police spokesperson, Captain Johan Rheeder, says the Spar in Central was targeted by one armed suspect early on Wednesday morning.
Rheeder says two suspects, one of who was armed robbed a spaza shop in Gelvandale on Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, three armed suspects robbed a spaza shop in Armstrong street in Malabar on Tuesday.
The owner of the shop tried to escape and he was subsequently shot in the neck by one of the suspects.
Another incident saw the owner of yet another spaza shop sustain a gun shot wound through his ear.
The three suspects who entered the New Century spaza shop in Algoa Park fled on foot.
No arrests in any of the four of the incidents have been made.
