Popular South African singer Kurt Darren had a run with three men while watching a movie in East London on Monday afternoon.
Darren, who also tweeted about the incident, said he was watching the movie the Expendables when the three, whom he described as "extremely high", entered the movie theatre and acted in a disruptive manner.
The singer says when he approached them to calm down, one of them allegedly threatened to "kill him."
Darren says when the movie ended the men followed him out and continued to threaten him before security at a bookstore intervened.
Vincent Park centre manager, Joseph Parsley, confirmed the incident.
Darren says he was not too fazed by the incident and is looking forward to his show at the Orient Theatre on Monday night as well as his gigs in Port Alfred and Port Elizabeth.
