Policeman and robber killed in EC shootout

 A policeman and a robber were shot dead during a shootout in Tsolo on Monday.

Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel, Mzukisi Fatyela, said four gunmen robbed a Boxer Superstore in Tsolo of an undisclosed amount of money late in the afternoon.

He said police responded and a shootout ensued in which a policeman and a robber were killed.

Fatyela said three gunmen managed to escape.

Police also recovered some of the money.
