Police are still searching for a missing work of art by painter Gerard Sekoto worth an estimated R7m.
Port Elizabeth police, acting on a tip-off, recovered 4 other valuable artworks stolen during a robbery at the Pretoria Art Museum on Sunday.
Police said the artworks were found lying under a bench in the yard of the Dutch Reformed Church in Sundridge Park.
Three men, pretending to be art students and lecturer, tied up staff at the Pretoria art museum on Sunday and stole paintings worth more than R17m.
No arrests have been made.
