Port Elizabeth police mobilised all available resources yesterday in the search for missing teacher, 28-year-old Jade Panayioutou.
Police searched through the night but she is still missing.
She was last seen outside her residential complex in Deacon Road in Kabega Park at about half past six on Tuesday morning.
She had been waiting for her daily lift to Uitenhage where she's a teacher at Riebeeck College.
The police investigation took them to Uitenhage after it was established that a withdrawal had been made from her bank account at an ATM in Kwanobuhle.
A reward of R150 000 is being offered for her safe return.
Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says a police helicopter was also used in the search for Jade and that police are following up on every lead they receive.
"We have covered various areas of Port Elizabeth last night. We have been focusing on Kabega Park. Rowellan Park, Uitenhage, Kwanobuhle, but at this stage we are following up on all leads that we do receive from the community. We would like them to assist us further for the rest of the day until we find her" she said
