Police probe murder of a young EL man

Police in Duncan Village in East London are investigating the murder of a 25-year-old man.

Police spokesperson, Stephen Marais, said the man's body was found early in Jabavu Street on Sunday morning.

He said he had multiple open wounds to the upper body and head.

"At this stage we cannot say what the motive was because we have got no witnesses that heard or saw anything," Marais said.

He said the "deceased" was last seen alive by his father around 11pm on Saturday night.
