Police in Port Elizabeth are investigating three incidents of arson and public violence after a house, a car and a construction site were set alight during a service delivery protest in Booysens Park on Thursday night.
Police Warrant Officer Alwin Labans says no arrests have been made in connection with the arson attacks but that two people were arrested on Thursday afternoon for public violence.
He says its quiet but tense at the moment and that police are maintaining a strong presence in the area.
