Police make quick breakthrough in Cookhouse murder

A 32 year old man is expected to appear in the Somerset East Magistrates Court on Wednesday on a charge of murder.

This follows his arrest on Monday afternoon after the body of a woman was found at Belklaar farm near Cookhouse earlier in the day.

The 39 year old Belinda Olivier has sustained multiple stab wounds.

She was found dead in her bed.

Cradock Cluster Commander, Brigadier Madoda  Zamkana has praised his members for the swift breakthrough.
