Police have identified the woman who was found murdered in the Bell area near Peddie last week.
She was the 25-year-old Noluthabo Maliza. A post mortem will be conducted this week to determine the exact cause of death.
According to an earlier report, Maliza disappeared when when her husband's car went missing after he parked it at the Peddie Magistrate's Court.
Govender says the husband told police that when he came out of court his car and wife were missing.
Her body was found close to where the stolen vehicle was located in the Qamnyana Administration Area in the Tyefu Policing Area close to Peddie.
No arrests have yet been made.
Police are investigating cases of murder, kidnapping and theft of a motor vehicle.
