Police in Gqeberha have initiated the 72-hour activation plan and launched a manhunt for the killers of three brothers in Motherwell.
Captain Gerda Swart says police were alerted to a shooting at a house in Mlele Street in Motherwell shortly after 8pm on Wednesday night.
She says the home owner found the body of his 24 year-old son lying at the entrance of his flat at the back of the residence.
The bodies of two of his other sons, aged 17 and 21, were found inside the flat.
All three victims had been shot in the head.
Captain Swart named the siblings as 24-year-old Pumelelo Dayimani, 21-year-old Andile Dayimani and their 17-year-old brother Silindokuhle.
The Provincial Organized Crime Investigation Unit in the Metro is investigating three counts of murder.
The motive for the murders has not yet been established.
