A man has been arrested for attempted murder in Plettenberg Bay.
Police spokesperson, Captain Bernadine Steyn says a 35-year-old man was involved in an argument with a group of men on Friday afternoon, and got into his car to leave.
She says he then allegedly tried to force a car, driven by one of the men he had been arguing with, off the road.
Steyn says the second man, aged 39, then got out of his vehicle, took out a licensed 7.65mm pistol and allegedly fired two shots at the 35-year-old, wounding him in the mouth.
She says the wounded man was taken to a hospital in George, where he remains in a stable condition.
The 39-year-old was arrested at the scene, and he is expected to appear in the Plettenberg Bay Magistrate's Court on Monday.
