Penguin festival launched at Cape St Francis

The Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds, SANCCOB, launched a 10 day penguin festival in Cape St Francis on Saturday morning, with the release of 6 rehabilitated penguins back into the sea.

The festival will include a number of events and activities for the whole family and all proceeds will go to SANCCOB.

Based in Cape St Francis, next to the iconic Seal Point Lighthouse, the penguin rehab centre is hosting the festival to raise awareness and funds.
