Pedestrian killed on the M17 in Motherwell

Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of culpable homicide following the death of  a 60 year old man who was hit by a taxi on the M17 in Motherwell.

Spokesperson, Warrant officer Dumile Gwavu says the accident happened at around 5 o'clock on Thursday morning.

He says the 50 year old taxi driver was unharmed.

Gwavu says the name of the deceased cannot be released, until his next of kin have been informed.
