Port Elizabeth police are searching for two men who robbed an elderly woman in house in Villiers Road in Walmer.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says the 77-year-old woman, who lives with her daughter, came out of the bathroom when she was confronted by the two suspects
She says they ransacked her room and fled out of the back of the house with cash and jewellery.
The woman was not injured during the home invasion which took place on Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, Janse Van Rensburg says another elderly woman died of a suspected heart attack while driving in Strandfontein Road in Summerstrand, Port Elizabeth.
The woman was 76-years old.
She says her car collided with a tree.
A case of culpable homicide is under investigation.
