Port Elizabeth police are searching for two armed men, who allegedly robbed and raped a woman at her Elandsriver house on Monday night.
Spokesperson, Captain. Sandra Janse van Rensburg says the men, armed with knives, knocked at the front door at around 6 o'clock, but she ordered them to go around to the back door.
She says the 27-year old victim, who works from home, thought the knock on the door was business related.
Janse van Rensburg says one of the suspects forced her into the house, and later took her to a nearby river, where she was allegedly raped.
She says while the young woman was being raped, the other suspect took household items.
The suspects fled on foot.
