Port Elizabeth police have arrested a 25-year-old woman on a charge of purjury, for making a false statement.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, says the woman told them on Wednesday that she had been picked up by two men, who sedated her before drawing her blood.
She also said that they drew symbols on her body.
Janse van Rensburg says police investigated and found that her stories didn't tally, after which she admitted that she had lied.
