The Nelson Mandela Bay Metro would like to inform residents from Port Elizabeth about a planned water shutdown on Thursday the 17th of January 2019.
Spokesperson Mthubanzi Mniki says the shut down is planned to do maintenance in two different parts of the metro.
He says the following areas will be affected from 6 pm

- Krog Street
- Perla Street
- Stanford Road Sb
- Stanford Road Nb
- Rabie Street
- Highfield Road Eb

- Newbolt Street
- Cottrell Street
- Pearl Road
- Kempston Road
- Pyott Road
- Gatley Road
- Wells Crescent
- Cox Street
- Bennet Street
- Lindsay Road

The second shut down is from 9am-5pm to inspect water losses in the area.
