Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder after two brothers were shot in Bethelsdorp on Monday night.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said 21-year-old Bongani Febhana and his 23-year-old brother, Andile, were in a shack at the back of a house in William Slammert Drive when five men entered.
"They fired several shots at them. The brothers ran into the main house where Andile Febhana collapsed and died. He sustained gunshot wounds to his chest while his brother sustained gunshot wounds to his head, hands and leg," Naidu said.
She said the motive for the shooting is unknown and the suspects remain at large.
