Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality says repairs to a main water supply pipeline will commence next Monday and will affect two outlying areas.
Municipality spokesperson, Roland Williams, says work to repair the damaged pipeline at Maitlands River is expected to take at least three days.
He says the Churchill pipeline system supplies 30 percent of the water to Nelson Mandela Bay.
Williams says as a result of these repairs, supply to the Metro will not be affected if residents use water sparingly during this period.
However, Blue Horizon Bay, Seaview and Kini Bay may experience temporary interruptions in supply over the period of the repair programme.
