Three men are expected to appear in the Port Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Thursday for an armed robbery at a garage in North End.
Police spokesperson, Captain Johan Rheeder, says the men entered the shop in Govan Mbeki Avenue in the early hours of Tuesday morning, pretending to be customers.
One suspect pulled out a gun and threatened the store assistant.
He says they instructed her to lay on the floor and took an undisclosed amount of money from the till as well as chocolates, cigarettes and pies.
Rheeder says they fled the scene in a white VW Polo but K9 members later spotted and arrested them after a chase ensued in Veeplaas.
The suspects aged between 26 and 28 were arrested on charges of business robbery and all the stolen goods were recovered
