Police in Port Elizabeth are looking for an unknown suspect who shot and killed a man in his car on Thursday night.
Police Spokesperson Captain Johan Rheeder says the 33-year-old Kurt Felix was sitting with a woman in his car at St Georges Strand when a suspect approached his Polo.
He says the suspect was armed and demanded their valuables.
Rheeder says according to the woman the shot went off by accident when he grabbed her handbag and other belongings.
Fellix was shot in the head and died on the scene.
A case of armed robbery and murder is under investigation.
