PE Postmaster wounded in armed robbery

Port Elizabeth police are searching for four men who robbed the Zwide Post Office on Friday morning.

Police spokesperson, Captain Andre' Beetge, says the Postmaster was wounded in the arm by one of the gunmen.

He says the robbers struck at around twenty to nine this morning.

Beetge says they ordered the Postmaster to open the safe and an undisclosed amount of money was taken.

He says they fled on foot and remain at large.
