PE policeman highjacked and robbed

 Police in Kwazakhele, Port Elizabeth, are searching for three suspects who robbed a policeman in Tonjeni Street, on Tuesday night.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Thembi Gwe, says the suspects, one of whom was armed, robbed the policeman of his wallet, cellphone and house keys before fleeing in the policeman's car.

Gwe says the vehicle was recovered at the local hospital.

No arrests have yet been made.
