Port Elizabeth police are appealing to the public to come forward with any information which may lead to the arrest of the suspects who shot and murdered two men in Kobus Road, Gelvandale, on Monday afternoon.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says the victims aged 36 and 48 were shot outside a recreational facility in the Northern Areas suburb which has been plagued by gang violence.
She says two men were seen fleeing the area by a member of the community who reported hearing several gunshots.
Police are investigating two counts of murder and the possibility of the shootings being gang related.
