Port Elizabeth police are appealing to members of the public for help in resolving three gang-related shootings in the past 24 hours.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says the Gang Unit is investigating two cases of murder and one of attempted murder.
This follows the shooting of a 23-year-old man on the corner of Baaitjies and Kobus Road in Gelvandale on Friday night.
Janse Van Rensburg says a 22-year-old man was wounded when gunmen opened fire on him also on Friday night, while a 30-year-old man was killed in Helenvale on Saturday morning when two men opened fire on the victim and a friend.
The friend escaped unharmed.
Janse Van Rensburg says anyone who may have information on the shootings should contact the police urgently.
