PE police searching for suspects following armed robbery at Cell C outlet

Port Elizabeth police are searching for four to five suspects following an armed robbery at a Cell C store at The Bridge Shopping Centre.

According to Captain, Johan Rheeder, the robbery happened around 9 am on Thursday morning.

Rheeder said three staff members were locked inside the store's safe.

The robbers fled the scene with a number of cellphones and other products.

No one was injured in the robbery.
