Port Elizabeth police are urgently trying to trace the whereabouts of a 13-year-old girl who was reported missing from her home in NU8 Motherwell.
Police spokesperson, Captain Andre Beetge, said Mbasa Ngindo was last seen watching TV in the lounge at her home in Ranisi street on Sunday night.
He said her parents discovered that she was no longer in the house at about 5 o clock on Monday morning.
"She was last seen Sunday night at about 10 pm when her parents went to sleep and the next morning the parents discovered that she was no longer in the house. It is also suspected that the girl might have packed a small bag of clothing," He said.
Beetge said anyone who may have seen her or has information regarding her whereabouts should contact their nearest police station.
