Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of murder and one of attempted murder following two shooting incidents in the city's Northern Areas on Monday night.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Alwin Labans, says a 24-year-old man was shot dead in Kleinskool late on Monday night.
He says residents heard gunshots in Acalypha Street and when the shooting stopped the body of the man was found in the street.
Labans says he had multiple gunshot wounds to the body.
In another shooting incident a man was wounded when a gunman fired shots through the window of a house in William Slammert Street in Greenfields.
No arrests have been made in either of the cases.
