Leaders of the country's two major political parties have their radars on Nelson Mandela Bay in the next few days.
ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa brings his election campaign to the Metro this weekend.
He was scheduled to address Bantu Church of Christ in New Brighton, Port Elizabeth on Saturday evening.
On Sunday he begins his day-long city tour at the George Botha Community Hall in Bethelsdorp in PE's Northern Areas.
Later in the day, he will address another public meeting at Nangoza Jebe hall in New Brighton, before he rounds off his visit with an engagement in Unit 29 in Motherwell.
DA leader, Mmusi Maimane, is meanwhile scheduled to visit Nelson Mandela Bay on Tuesday.
