Port Elizabeth police have arrested two young men who allegedly robbed and raped a woman in her house in New Brighton on Monday.
Police Spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says the suspects, aged 18 and 22, were arrested in the early hours of Wednesday morning in Madikana Street in Kwazekele.
The men allegedly broke into the 26-year-old victim's house where she lives with another 83-year-old lady.
Beetge says the men threatened them with knives, before stealing both their phones.
He says the men then both took turns in raping the younger woman.
Police also found eight phones in their possession which was allegedly stolen in other robberies.
They will appear in court on Thursday on a charge of rape and house robbery.
