A 35-year-old man is in police custody following his arrest for the murder of 44-year-old Elrico Titus from Bloemendal, Port Elizabeth.
Colonel Priscilla Naidu says the suspect was arrested on Monday in connection with the murder of Titus a day earlier.
Colonel Naidu says Titus was involved in an argument with the suspect on Sunday evening.
The argument turned physical and Titus’s brother then took him back to his house in Lodewyk Street, Bloemendal.
Titus later went down the street again and approached the suspect.
Colonel Naidu says Titus was stabbed in the back and died in the yard of his home.
A 35-year-old man was arrested at his home, also in Lodewyk Street, and will appear in court soon on a charge of murder.
