PE man shot dead in gang violence

Port Elizabeth police are searching for unknown suspects, after the body of a 28-year old man was found in Helenvale early on Saturday morning.

Spokesperson, WO Alwin Labans says the body was found just after 5am with a bullet wound to the head.

He says an ambulance was called, but the victim was declared dead at the scene.

Labans says the shooting was gang-related.
