Police in Port Elizabeth are investigating a charge of assault following an alleged road rage incident in Newton Park on Sunday. A 50-year-old man sustained facial injuries following the alleged assault which took place at about noon.
Police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says it is not yet clear what transpired before the incident and it will form part of the police investigation. She says the suspect is known to police but has not yet been arrested.
