PE man bust on child porn charges

A 44-year-old Port Elizabeth man has been arrested on charges related to child pornography.

Police are keeping mum on the details only saying the matter is sensitive.

However, police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, confirmed the arrest yesterday by members of the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit.

The suspect is due to appear in court soon.
