PE man arrested for illegal possesion of perlemoen

The police's dog unit in Port Elizabeth and the Uitenhage stock-theft unit have arrested a 72-year old man for the illegal possesion of a large quantity of perlemoen.
Police spokesperson, WO Alwin Labans says the units monitored the movements of the elderly man, and raided his house in the Waterkloof area, west of Port Elizabeth, where they confiscated 2 847 units of perlemoen.
He says the street value amounts to more than R200 000.
