PE jewellery store robbed at gunpoint

Port Elizabeth police are searching for three armed robbers, who robbed a jewellery store at Metlife Plaza on Sunday morning.

Spokesperson, WO Alwin Labans says three men entered American Swiss Jewellers, and demanded cash.

He says they took cellphones and an undisclosed amount of money, before fleeing in a white VW Polo.

Labans says no shots were fired and no-one was injured.

No arrests have yet been made.
