Two Port Elizabeth gangsters have been given lengthy jail sentences in two separate cases that concluded in the city's courts this week.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says 25-year-old gang affiliate, Denzil Hall, was jailed on Monday for 10 years following his conviction for attempted murder.
A five-year sentence for illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition will run concurrently with the main sentence.
Naidoo says another gang member, Sherwyn Leander, was sentenced to an effective seven years for the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
She says Mount Road Cluster Commander, Major-General Funeka Singanga welcomed the sentences imposed on the two men.
