A 24-year-old gang affiliate was arrested in Kleinskool in Port Elizabeth on Saturday night in connection with a murder and attempted murder which took place earlier this month.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says on the 8th of October he allegedly shot a 19-year-old man in his face at a house in Kleinskool and on Monday evening he allegedly killed a 14-year-old boy Luzuki Majiela.
The suspect will appear in the Port Elizabeth magistrates court on Monday.
Meanwhile, another eight suspects will appear in the Gelvendale Magistrates court in connection with a robbery at a liquor store in Stanford Road on Friday.
Naidu says the same group of men robbed the same store a week ago and held staff and patrons at gunpoint.
Their vehicle was spotted by police and a chase ensued.
Police also confiscated a firearm and gas gun.
