Port Elizabeth police have seized hundreds of rounds of ammunition, a firearm and a police uniform following a raid on a house in Kwadwesi.
Police spokesperson, Constable Mcedi Mbombo said police also seized handcuffs, fake passports and fake South African Identity Documents.
Mbombo said the raid was carried out Thursday night, after a tip off was received about suspicious activities at the house in Mbaba Street.
He said a stolen car was found at the house on Wednesday.
Mbombo said no police official lived at that address.
No arrests have yet been made, and the investigation continues.
