PE businessman makes a brief court appearance

Port Elizabeth businessman Shaun Blunden has made a brief appearance in the city's magistrate's court.

The owner of Blunden Coach Tours was arrested over the weekend for allegedly shooting his sister's ex-husband.

The case against him was postponed to Wednesday for a formal bail application.

The state is expected to oppose bail.

Blunden is being detained at Humewood police station.
