Port Elizabeth police are investigating charges of burglary and murder, after a man in his 30's was stabbed to death with his own knife in a house in the Lusaka informal settlement at Greenbushes shortly after midnight on Saturday.
Spokesperson, Captain. Sandra Janse van Rensburg says the owner of the house, and her two sisters went to a nearby store and left four minor children in the house.
She says the man broke into the house, and neighbours notified the sisters of the incident by telephone.
Janse van Rensburg says when the sisters returned to the house, they confronted the man, and a scuffle ensued, during which the man was stabbed with his own knife.
