Humansdorp police are looking for a missing patient who was admitted to the Provincial Hospital in town earlier this month.
Spokesperson Sergeant Majola Nkohli says the 62-year-old Jack Oliphant was admitted to the hospital on the 5th of June and disappeared five days later.
Oliphant was last seen, inside the hospital on the 10th of June, wearing a hospital gown.
Any person with information is asked to contact police.
The Hospital was closed on Saturday after the Department of Health confirmed “positive cases” at the hospital.
A spokesperson for Provincial Health Sizwe Kupelo said the hospital reopened on Monday.
