Controversial Nigerian pastor, Tim Omotoso, appeared briefly again in the Port Elizabeth Magistrate's court on Friday morning where the matter was postponed to Monday the 24th of July.
The 58-year-old Durban-based televangelist faces 22 charges related to human trafficking and sexual assault and was denied bail at his previous court appearance on the 9th of June.
The leader of the Jesus Dominion International Church had been in custody since his dramatic arrest by the Hawks and armed members of the SAPS Tactical Response Team at the Port Elizabeth airport on the 20th of April.
Omotoso was represented by his new legal counsel James Riley after parting ways with his previous legal team led by well-known PE advocate Terry Price.
Riley told Algoa FM News that he was instructed last week by a firm in Vereeniging to act as their correspondence in Port Elizabeth.
Omotoso will reapply for bail based on what they call new facts.
He will be appearing on camera from St Albans prison, west of Port Elizabeth.
