Murder accused Port Elizabeth businessman Christopher Panayiotou suffered another blow in his bid for bail on Monday.
High Court judge Dyalin Chetty dismissed an application by his defence team for access to the State's case docket - having previously argued that it would assist them in preparing a new bail application for their client.
Judge Chetty gave no reasons for his decision which was handed down in the Motion Court at the PE High Court.
Panayiotou, who is charged with orchestrating the abduction and murder of his school teacher wife Jayde in April, was initially denied bail in the PE Magistrate's Court, and then again in the Grahamstown High Court.
He was arrested shortly after Jayde's murder and remains in custody at St Albans Prison.
Panayiotou and his two co-accused Sizwezakhe Vumazonke and Sinethemba Nenembe will be back in court on the 11th of January.
