State Prosecutor, Marius Stander is expected to hear argument in the Port Elizabeth High Court on Tuesday for access to the case docket of murder accused, Christopher Panayiotou by his legal team.
Panayioutou appeared briefly in the Port Elizabeth magistrate's court on the 24th of November, after magistrate Abigail Beeton insisted he be present to hear argument by his defence council for access to the State's case docket.
Defence council Terry Price and Alwyn Griebenouw say they need the docket so that they can prepare another bail application for their client
Panayiotou, who is accused of orchestrating his school teacher wife Jayde's abduction and murder in April this year, is expected to appear together with his two co-accused, Sizwezakhe Vumazonke and Sinethemba Nenembe in the city's Magistrate's court on Wednesday for the case to be remanded and referred to the High Court in the New Year.
