Women and Men Against Child Abuse is considering approaching the Human Rights Commission, should the Director of Public Prosecutions not reopen the case against Knysna businessman, Adrian Wilson-Forbes.
He was acquitted of 79 counts of sexual offences against children earlier this year.
Twenty-nine photographs, depicting Wilson-Forbes in precarious positions with a naked eight-year-old girl at Herold’s Bay, formed a key part of the case which involved charges that included child rape, abduction and creation of child pornography.
The organisation's call comes as police have cracked what is believed to be South Africa’s biggest child pornography ring, with links to Canada, the UK, the US, western Europe and Australasia.
Six people have been arrested across the country to date, and police are investigating a further 26 people and more arrests are imminent.
