A teenage Port Elizabeth girl who was detained this week in connection with the hijacking and murder of 53-year-old Magda van Vuuren has been released.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says the 15-year-old girld was released from custody on Thursday.
Four teenage boys, said to be learners at Westview Special School, appeared in juvenile court.
They were remanded in custody to Friday.
Meanwhile, Van Vuuren, who died in hospital after being shot in the back, will be laid to rest on Friday.
Van Vuuren was killed on Monday when a schoolboy in uniform allegedly shot her in the back before speeding off in her gold box-shaped BMW.A 16-year-old schoolboy and the 15-year-old schoolgirl were the first to be arrested at a petrol station in Bluewater Bay.Three other teens were subsequently arrested and a licensed firearm recovered.
