One person has been killed following a head-on-collision just outside Queenstown Friday afternoon.
The spokesperson for Eastern Cape Provincial Traffic, Charles Bramwell, said an articulated truck and Audi collided head-on about 30 kilometers from Catchart.
"This afternoon around 13.30, on the N6 between Queenstown and Cathcart, near the Swartvlei River, we had a terrible accident," he said.
"It's alleged that an Audi motor vehicle overtook another motor vehicle, heading in the direction of Queenstown. It hit an articulated truck head-on and the driver of the Audi was fatally injured," Bramwell said.
The name of the deceased has not been released.
