Nigerian pastor, Timothy Omotoso, has lost another application in the High Court.
Judge Phillip Zilwa dismissed his application for leave to appeal his recent ruling denying Omotoso's bail application brought on new facts.
This was Omotoso's third unsuccessful bid for bail.
The 62-year-old and his two co-accused, Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho face over 90 charges of rape and human trafficking.
National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson, Anelisa Ngcakani says Judge Zilwa said in his judgment that no other court would come to a different conclusion. He also said that since Omotoso was in the country illegally he would be deported if granted bail.
The normal trial of the three accused will now continue after lunch on Wednesday.
Omotoso has been in custody since his arrest in April 2017.
